Meet My Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma Judy & Grandpa Rich came all the way from Minnesota to hang out with me. They were a big help; they even watched me while mom & dad went out on a hot date.

Meeting Cousin Elliott

Cousin Elliott came over today. He's a big dude. I have a feeling the two of us are going to get into a lot of trouble together over the years.

I also got to meet Aunt Nancy. Good thing, too. She showed mommy & daddy the proper way to buckle me into the car seat. Boy, they sure do have a lot to learn. Good thing they're pretty.

My First Bath

Well, I give them credit for trying. But the truth is mommy & daddy had no clue what they were doing when they gave me my first bath at home. There's a good chance I was more dirty after the bath than before. Oh well, let's hope they do better next time.

Coming Home

Turns out there's more to life than the 11th floor of Yale New Haven Hospital, which was relieving to find out because I was getting tired of a few of those maternity ward nurses. But I hear my dad really enjoyed the rubber couch they let him sleep on (hey, there's my first-ever sarcastic comment).

It took longer than expected to get home. Despite the 55 mph on I-95, daddy insisted on driving 40 mph. Somebody tell him that the gas is on the right already. By the way, you would've thought mommy & daddy could've whipped out the camera to chronicle my first minutes at home. Nope! But cousin Sophie did. Daddy will post them when she sends them over. She's a great photographer.

My Birthday

After 9 months of hanging out in mommy's tummy, I finally made my debut today at 2:40 p.m. ET. Despite all the crying I did, I thought it was pretty cool to see what life on the outside was all about.

Here's a pretty cool photo of me and dad about 10 minutes after I was born. I guess we are Yankees fans. It could be worse, we could be Red Sox fans like my cousin Nicholas. And don't even get me started about Grandpa Rich and the Twins.
