My First Road Trip

I experienced my first road trip this week. Mommy and I drove to New Jersey for Aunt Nancy's Birthday.  I had a great play date with my cousin Elliott. He let me sleep in his crib, use his bouncy chair and kick on his activity mat. They were all a little different than mine and so it was like I had a big brother to show me how to play with my new toys for the day.

My First 100 Days - Happy St. Patrick's Day

I definitely have a little (or a lot of) Irish in me...isn't it funny that my 100 Day Birthday is on St. Patrick's Day.  I didn't drink any green formula or watch a parade today but my daddy's relatives all celebrated on Sunday and boy do they know how to party.  Grammy and Grandad hosted the festivities and there was a ton of corned beef, cabbage, Irish soda bread and beer.  Everyone was so nice to me.  My cousin, Sophie, showed my new friend-cousins Kaitlyn and Amanda how I like to be fed and even taught them the the burp-a-sauraus song.

I Rolled Over Today

Maybe I got overly excited because my cousins were coming over to play or maybe I was really hungry and wanted to get up and get my bottle myself but the bottom line is...I rolled over and smiled afterwards. I think I surprised not only my mommy but myself.

My Top Picks - March 2009

I'm almost three months old so figured I should share some of my favorite things with my fans. Here is my Top 10 List:

1.  Favorite Buddy - Daddy...and Mommy, too, but I'm told I'm a daddy's boy because I always save the biggest smiles for when my daddy gets home from work.
2.  Favorite Night Out - I had a blast at my cousins' house a few weeks ago.  Sophie read some of my new books to me, helped give me a bath and feed me.  Big cousin Nicholas is really cool. He hangs with the big boys but always makes time for me.  I hope to grow up and be just like him.  He's really smart and gets good grades but also is an amazing athlete.  He knows a lot about sports but apparently he hasn't figured out that the Red Sox are bad news.
3.  Favorite Laugh - That is an easy one...Grammy Sullivan for sure!
4.  Favorite Toy Right Now - My activity mat from Aunt Jane, Uncle James and Cousin Abraham is really big and bright. I smile a lot at the mirror hanging from the mobile and kick my legs around, too.  My NY buddy, Michelle, gave me one that I love, as well.  I use it for Grammy's.
5.  Favorite Quiet Time Fun - Watching Little Einstein's Baby Beethoven.  Wow, I sure am mesmerized by the music.  Maybe I will learn to play the piano like my Grandpa Rich.  But to be like Beethoven, I'd have to have some crazy big hair and I'm not sure that runs in the family.  (My daddy would make that joke.)
6.  Favorite Outfit Right Now - Hand-me-down Janie and Jack baseball outfit from cousin Elliott and preppy vest, oxford and khaki's from mommy's friend Lillian.
7. Favorite Song - "Las Vegas Nights" by Hootie and the Blowfish and "Lovey - Lovey - Lovey" by singer/songwriter, Mommy Sullivan circa 2009.
8. Favorite Holiday - Though I had my first Christmas and Hanukkah this year, I was too little to really experience it.  I'm excited for my first St. Patrick's Day with GranDad and maybe even Aunt Libbey.  I hear that St. Patrick's Day is a fun event for all the Sullivans.  Daddy even owns green pants...maybe with enough of that Amstel juice he will dance.
9.  Favorite Sport and Team - Baseball and New York Yankees - If you haven't figured that out by now, please re-read my entire blog.
10. My All-Time Favorite - My Family and Friends - Thanks to all my visitors...and to all of you whom I will meet this month.  Can't wait!

It Isn't MTV Cribs It is MY Crib

My Crib aka my home is in Milford, Connecticut and all I have to say is...it rocks! In fact, I just graduated into my own big boy room where I'm sleeping full time in my crib. Check out my digs. (Say "Hi" to Grandma Judy who came to visit last weekend in the first photo.) We even snuck in a Minnesota Twins clothing tree to honor my Grandpa Rich but other than that anything baseball has a Yankees logo on it.
